What is RAVATAR ?

RAVATAR is a digital initiative created to carry Jewish spirit, Jewish faith, and Jewish consolation to people everywhere in the world. Its purpose is to make the voice, presence, and moral strength of Judaism accessible beyond physical borders, allowing moments of connection, reflection, and spiritual grounding to reach anyone who seeks them.
At the heart of RAVATAR stands a living, widely recognized and respected rabbi, a spiritual figure from Israel who has devoted his life to Torah study, deep listening, and supporting others, and who also heads a kollel that supports forty avrechim and their families, men who dedicate their lives to the study of Torah.
the platform enables the values, wisdom, and sacred Jewish spirit flowing from the Holy Land to reach those who cannot come to Israel in person, allowing them to draw strength, comfort, and connection from its spiritual source, regardless of distance, time, or life circumstances.

How and why it was created ?

RAVATAR was born out of a deep sense of responsibility and shared purpose between two Jewish Israeli cousins, Ilan Halperin and Ariel Feller. They understood that while the world is constantly changing, the human need for spiritual support, meaningful connection, and a grounding sense of tradition remains as strong as ever.
In a time marked by complexity, uncertainty, and global challenges, when many people are searching for reassurance and a sense of security, they felt an even greater urgency to act. From this understanding, they sought a new way to make that connection widely accessible.
After careful thought and open dialogue, they embarked on an unconventional journey together with Rabbi shriki, combining ancient Jewish tradition with contemporary technology.

Who it is for ?

RAVATAR is intended for anyone seeking a blessing, encouragement, guidance, or a meaningful word of support. It is open to people of all backgrounds, religions, communities, and locations, and to anyone who seeks a personal connection to Jewish spirituality and values.

“The platform was established during a particularly challenging period. Antisemitism is rising worldwide, global uncertainty is increasing, and in Israel many are still coping with the consequences of the events of October 7. In this reality, we recognized the genuine need for an accessible and strengthening spiritual presence, available to anyone who needs it.” (Ilan Halperin)

The Process of Blessing in 4 Simple Steps:

1. Request Your Blessing
You start by filling out a simple form with your name and what kind of blessing you’d like to receive, in what language and more.

2. Sending Your Request to the Rabbi
Once you submit the form, your request is sent directly to the rabbi’s dedicated staff. They make sure the rabbi sees it.

3. The Rabbi’s blessing & video Approval
The rabbi reviews your request and once he approves, he gives his blessing and the video is made, in chosen language.

4. Creating Your Personalized Blessing Video
After the rabbi’s approval, the staff creates a special video of the rabbi blessing you. This video is sent to you as a visual token of your blessing. The recorded blessing is also accompanied by a prayer for the person who submitted the request, offered every Thursday night.

RAVATAR, Kabbalistic tradition Rabbi Netanel Shriki

A few words from us

In recent years, and especially since the events of October 7, we have seen how the world has become a harsher, angrier, and less secure place. Jews are being targeted simply for being Jewish, and outbreaks of hatred often erupt from deep fear, pain, and emotional distress.

Judaism is a spiritual home for the world, a source of meaning, acceptance, and giving. We believe that the Jewish spirit has the power to heal, to console, and to strengthen, even when reality feels fractured. From this belief, we sought to offer every person access to the protection of the spoken word, prayer, and Jewish intention, in an open and accessible way.

A renowned and deeply respected Rabbi from Israel agreed to take part in this initiative with openness and courage, embracing technology as a tool for spreading goodness and Jewish light. As the tools for spreading light increase, so too does the light itself. His participation reflects a belief in the power of words, intention, and sincere prayer in every generation. This is not merely a digital video. Each request is received with seriousness and carried by the Rabbi in his personal prayers.

We invite you to turn to this space whenever you seek comfort, strength, or a moment of light, for yourself or for someone you care about.

With respect and hope,
Ilan and Ariel

Frequently Asked Questions

Your personalized blessing from Rabbi Shriki will be delivered within four business days from the moment of your request. This timeframe is required because the Rabbi personally prints the form, prays for the names listed in it during at least two separate prayers, and only afterward instructs the technological team to prepare the video, which will be sent directly to your email.

The platform currently supports the languages listed on the blessing request page. However, if you need the blessing in another language, the Rabbi will make every effort to provide it, understanding that this service is meant to offer comfort, strength, and support to any Jew who seeks it.

Your donation enables us to
maintain and grow this platform, ensuring that every Jew around the world can receive comfort, guidance, or blessing. In addition, the Rabbi’s household conducts extensive charitable activities, including food distribution and support for families in need. Forty Torah scholars study daily in the Rabbi’s beit midrash, and their families receive ongoing assistance. The Rabbi’s court is a place of spiritual light, kindness, and generous giving.

Yes. Rabbi Netanel Shriki
personally reads every request, every name, and prays for each one before giving instructions to create the video in his likeness. Reviewing these names and praying for them is an integral part of his weekly spiritual practice. No blessing is produced without passing directly under the Rabbi’s
guidance.

Yes. Although the message is delivered through advanced technology, the blessing itself originates entirely from the Rabbi’s own voice, intention, and prayer. He personally prays for you before the video is created. For this reason, the blessing is considered a genuine spiritual blessing, conveyed with sanctity, reverence, and deep commitment to Jewish tradition.

Yes. You may request a blessing
for a family member, friend, or anyone in need of spiritual support. Simply include their full name and mother’s name in the request form, and the Rabbi will pray for them personally just as he would for you.

Absolutely. All details you provide, including names, requests, and personal notes, are kept strictly confidential. Only the Rabbi and the designated team member preparing the video have access to this information. Nothing is shared or stored beyond what is required to fulfill your request.

If your situation is time sensitive, you may indicate that in the request form. While the Rabbi adheres to his spiritual process, he does make every possible effort to prioritize urgent cases involving health, danger, or significant emotional distress.

Once completed, your personalized video blessing will be sent directly to the email address you provided. You may download it, save it, or forward it to family members. If you do not receive the email, you can contact support through the platform for immediate assistance.

Rabbi Netanel Shriki (shlita) is the grandson and successor of Baba Shalom, the tzaddik Rabbi Shalom Ifergan zt”l – a descendant of an ancient Sephardic Kabbalistic lineage from which emerged halakhic arbiters, exemplary men, and healers of souls. This spiritual inheritance is not just a family identity card; it is a golden chain of Torah, prayer, and kindness that continues from generation to generation and gives the Rabbi both inspiration and authority to continue to bless, heal, and raise up disciples
